HSC Result 2026 Out Tomorrow: 1.27 Million Examinees Await Their Fate
The HSC Result 2026 will be published tomorrow, Saturday (October 31), at 11 am. Examinees can check their results online, by SMS, or through their own institutions.
The long wait is almost over. For about two and a half months, millions of students and their guardians have been anxiously waiting for the higher secondary and equivalent exam results. Education Minister Dr A N M Ehsanul Hoque Milon will inaugurate the publication process at the Secretariat, in a ceremony organised by the Ministry of Education at 11 am. Results will become available at institutions and online at the same time.
Examinee Numbers and Exam Timeline
A total of 12 lakh 70 thousand 583 examinees (about 1.27 million) were registered under the country’s 11 education boards this year. A notable number of them, however, did not sit for the exams.
This year’s HSC and equivalent exams began on July 2. The written papers were scheduled to end on August 8, but natural disasters and floods forced several boards, including Chattogram, to postpone some exams, which were held later. Practical exams were also completed by August 15.
How to Check Your HSC Result Online
The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee has said that institutions must collect the published results from eduboardresults.gov.bd and educationboardresults.gov.bd. They are advised to go to the result corner on the site and download the result sheet using the board name and their EIIN number.
Examinees can also collect their results directly from their own institutions. The results will also be available on the common website of the education boards or on the individual website of each board.
How to Check HSC Result 2026 by SMS
Even without internet access, students can still find out their results. Sending an SMS to 16140 from any mobile number will return the HSC result 2026. Type HSC first and leave a space. Then write the first three letters of the board name, add another space, followed by the roll number, one more space, and the exam year. For example, a Dhaka Board examinee should type HSC Dha 123456 2026 and send it to 16140.
The coordination committee has also made it clear that no results will be given out at education boards, the Ministry of Education, or newspaper offices.
What to Do If You Are Unhappy With Your Result
Those who have concerns about their results can apply for re-scrutiny of their answer scripts from November 1 to November 7. Applications must be submitted online, and the process and instructions have been published on the education boards’ websites.
