61th Dhaka University IBA MBA Admission 2022

Institute of Business Administration under Dhaka University. IBA MBA online application last date June. Eligible applicants have to submit their application within the deadline. Application fee Tk. 1000/= only for each applicant and payment should be made by Bank Draft/Pay Order in favour of IBA, Executive MBA. MBA Admission Test (2022) of Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka, will be held on Friday at 10:00 am.

Dhaka University IBA MBA Admission Applicant Eligibility

Applicants roust have at least a Bachelor Degree in any field of study. The minimum qualifying point is seven (07) for all applicants. The points are calculated as follows:

The minimum requirements for application into the Dhaka University IBA MBA Admission program are:

  • A Bachelor degree or its equivalent in any field including business, engineering, agriculture or medicine
  • No more than one-third division/ class in any public examination, and
  • At least seven points, calculated as follows:

  • Applicants, who have taken the O Level examination, must have passed at least five subjects (including mathematics), with a minimum of grade ‘D’ in each of these subjects.
  • Who have taken the A Level examination, must have passed at least two subjects, with a minimum of grade ‘D’ in both of these subjects.
  • Letter grades of O Level and A Level subjects are converted to grade points (A = 4, B = 3, C = 2, D = 1). Grade Point Average (GPA) is calculated by averaging the grade points of the five best grades for O Level and the two best grades for A-Level.

For all other certificates/degrees, equivalence will be determined by the Equivalence Committee of IBA.

  • * Letter grades of 0-Level and A-Level subjects are converted into grade points as follows: A = 4, B = 3, C = 2 and D = 1. Grade Point Average (GPA) is calculated by averaging the grade points of the best five grades for 0-Level and the best two grades for A-Level.
  • Candidates with the third division or GPA of less than 2.5 in SSC or HSC or GPA of less than 2.5 in 0-Level or less than 2.0 in A-Level examinations will not be eligible for application.
  • Applicants who have taken 0-Level examinations must pass at least five (05) subjects (including mathematics) with a minimum of grade Din each of the subjects.
  • Applicants who have taken the A-Level examinations must pass at least two (02) subjects with a minimum of grade Din each of the subjects.

For all other foreign certificates/degrees, equivalence is determined by the Equivalence Committee of IBA. Without such equivalence, the applicants are not allowed to sit for the admission test.

SELECTION PROCEDURE

The test has two components: Written Assessment and Interview. The written assessment component evaluates applicants’ aptitude in Language, Mathematics, and Analytical ability.

An applicant must obtain a minimum qualifying score in each of the above areas to pass the written test and appear at the interview. An applicant with a foreign nationality with minimum 75 percentile in GMAT may be exempted from the written assessment. However, he/she will be required to appear at an interview.

Mobile phone, calculator or any other electronic device is strictly prohibited in the Examination Hall.

Written Test

Applicants will select for interview on the basis of their performances in the Written Test.
